P3 Particulate filter

SECAIR 3000.03 P3 Particulate Filter protects against the harmful effects of solid and liquid aerosols, provided that the concentration of the dispersed phase of aerosol does not exceed 30 x OEL (Occupational Exposure Limit).

Typical applications of P3 class filters: metal oxide fumes (zinc, lead, arsenic, vanadium, silver) generated during melting, casting or machining metals (welding, grinding); hard coal mining where uranium or radium compounds are present; tanneries and electroplating plants (chromate dusts and mists); selected pigments (cadmium sulphide); artificial, mineral fibers; asbestos dust; dust, and mists of pharmaceutical products.
