SECOL

SECOL is a hydrophilic protective hand gel that protects the skin against the harmful or toxic action of:

• paints and lacquers and their solvents (except water and alcohols);
• aromatic and aliphatic organic solvents and their derivatives (e.g.: benzene, toluene, xylene, trichloroethylene, chlorobenzene);
• gasoline, kerosene, oils, grease, tar, and other oil derivatives;
• resins, hardening initiators, plasticizers;
• esters and ketones (ethyl acetate, methylethylketone);
• dirty dust including dry soil.

SECOL is indispensable in long-lasting or frequent work with the mentioned substances in the case when the use of classical gloves in impossible or inconvenient. SECOL is a modern, reliable, and comfortable in use medium, necessary there when high quality is expected. 

SECOL is produced on the base of polyvinyl alcohol with the addition of casein, glycerol, and antifungal agents. All these ingredients are in the form of a solution in ethyl alcohol. After application on the skin of the hands and evaporation of the alcohol, it forms a thin, elastic layer that is resistant as a glove. This layer blocks the contact of the skin with harmful substances without obstructingt of the natural breathing of the skin. On the other side, under the protective layer proceeds the process of healing and regeneration of the epidermis.

Thanks to this SECOL may be applied also on tiny wounds or certain disease changes on the skin e.g. acne which is cured within 4 weeks of SECOL application at 96 % of the controlled group. SECOL has also bacteriostatic properties and forms a barrier against mycosis infections. It does not irritate the skin and does not indicate any allergic activity.

Besides SECOL is antistatic and may be applied in contact with flammable or explosive materials. It does not contain silicone. SECOL is easy to apply: easily distributes on the hands, dries quickly, and is easy to wash off after work. The layer remains on the skin for a long time (up to 4 hours). 

SECOL does not limit manual abilities contrary to protective rubber gloves. SECOL is sold in packets of 140 g and 5 kg.
